DIWALI SCULPTURES

In commemoration of Canada 150 and 70 years of Indian Independence ICAC partnered with Streets Alive Productions and Orillia District Arts Council sponsored 15 artists & sculpturists to make sculptures on Diwali theme.

The collaboration produced some creative master pieces cherished by the Indo Canadian community. A true marvel of cultural and artistic exchange between India & Canada.

The maple leaf sculptures by the courtesy of Streets Alive and ODAC were displayed throughout GTA and Niagara Falls alongside Diwali sculptures.

Diwali Sculptures were displayed at Queens Park Diwali Celebrations by government of Ontario by Liberal caucus and then premier Kathleen Wynne.

ICAC looks forward to take another initiative to commemorate the 75 years of Indian Independence.
